Payment

Full payment will be required 8 weeks prior to your holiday start date. Any bookings made within 8 weeks of their start date will require full payment at the time of booking.

Cancellation charges will be made as follows:

  • 56 days or greater before holiday start date– deposit only.
  • 28 – 55 days before departure – 50% of cost.
  • 14-27 days before departure – 75% of cost.
  • Less than 14 days before departure – 100% of cost.

Cancellation by AlpiCiclo

We will endeavour to maintain our trips as advertised and ensure we deliver the advertised holiday. However, we reserve the right, at our discretion to cancel bookings at any time up to 28 days before departure. We will seek to offer alternative arrangements or offer a full refund of costs paid.

Changes to advertised holiday dates

AlpiCiclo may on occasion require changes to dates. In the event of a date change being required, customers will be given the option of the new date or a full refund. As far as possible, AlpiCiclo will inform customers more than 28 days before departure.

Changes to holiday itinerary

Holiday itineraries are subject to change at short notice due to weather changes, group capability or other factors.

Any unforeseen costs incurred through delay, accidents, disruption beyond the control of AlpiCiclo (e.g. Acts of war, natural disasters, strikes etc) will be borne by our customers.

Travel insurance

All customers are required to take out fully comprehensive travel insurance for the duration of their trip.

Under the terms of your booking, you are required to have insurance that covers the activities you are going to pursue, covers any costs associated with medical treatment and repatriation in the event of accident or illness and includes cover for any rental equipment you may use during the course of your trip.

European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) – All European citizens should request an EHIC and bring it with them for their trip.

Travel documents

Customers should ensure they have the necessary travel documents to visit the countries covered by their trip itinerary. AlpiCiclo will be able to advise on any questions about countries to be visited ahead of your trip if unclear in the itinerary.

Complaints

In the event you have a complaint about the trip or your treatment by AlpiCiclo or staff, this should be raised at the first opportunity so that the issue can be resolved. In the event an issue isnt resolved it should be made in writing within 28days of the completion of your trip and sent to…

Trip participants

AlpiCiclo reserves the right to decline a booking or retain a customer on a trip if their conduct is considered dangerous, disruptive or having a negative impact on the enjoyment of other customers on the trip. Every effort will be made to resolve such issues in an amiable manned but AlpiCiclo will bear no liability for the costs incurred by an individual asked to leave a trip.
